very well made

I like this bread bag for the simple reason it stands up and the bottom is firm. Other bread bags tend to crush the bread, you can keep your bread in a loaf and it won't get crushed.

Pleasant surprise

I’ve had my homemade sourdough in this bag for 5 or 6 days now and while it’s on the stale side of course, it is still soft enough to enjoy. I had been using the brown parchment type bread bags and the bread would just be good for toast by the 5 day mark. With this bag I was still able to enjoy a sandwich today (I baked the bread on Sunday or Monday and it’s now Saturday). It is plenty big for whatever size loaf I make, with a large zipper top for easy in and out of bread. The zipper is good quality and zips open/closed very easily. I didn’t think it would make that much of a difference from the parchment bags but it is so quick and convenient to pull out the loaf, toss it back in, zip closed and roll down to remove air and make smaller. It has flexible wires of some sort (I’m assuming) in the sides to keep it rolled up. I have not had to wash it yet but it says machine washable, although it seems easy enough to wash by hand. Overall I am very happy to have gotten this and think it is well worth the current price of around $20. I would purchase another if needed, and might do so for gifts to fellow bakers. It seems of good enough quality to last for quite some time but I will update if that is not the case.Just a note, I saw another reviewer that mentioned it being airtight and that bread needs to breathe or it will mold quickly. I don’t believe it is airtight, as after you zip it you push the air out while rolling the top down so I’m assuming it breathes through the zipper. Could always leave the zipper open a little if really worried. I’m not sure if sourdough is more resistant to mold than regular yeast bread, but mine was still mold free after being stored in it all week.

Love my reusable bread bag

I make homemade sandwich bread every week and then freeze it. I always put it in ziplock bags and reuse the ziplock. This will be so much nicer to use. The cotton canvas will keep the bag from getting holes in it and help protect the bread from ice crystals. It rolls up nicely. I like the wire edges that keep it rolled tightly. I like the flexible liner and it is easy to pull out and wash it by hand, even though it is attached to the canvas. It does take up a little more room but that is fine with me. The zipper is nice and sturdy and the bag is sewn very nicely. I like the little handle to grab it out of the freezer.

Top quality 5-star bread storage bag!

I have several bread bags to store my sourdough bread baking items in, but this is truly the nicest one I have owned to date. The entire bag screams "quality" and it feels and performs just as good as it looks. One thing that sets this bag from seller Kneadace apart is the sturdy but flexible wire feature that is sewn into thes sides of the bag. The wire gives the bag some structure so that it can stay in an upright position when filling it or for storage. This feature also allows for better rolling, sealing and folding of the bag. The inner lining of this 100% cotton bag is that wonderful beeswax-type lining that all good bread bags seem to have. The wording on the front of the bag says, "baked to keep" and that is fitting since this is a bag you want to store your family's bread in. I definitely recommend this bag to any baker who appreciates a good quality baking item and the bag would make a wonderful gift as well!

High quality bag.

This bag is of excellent quality. It justifies the price. The construction is superb, the zipper is good quality and slides very easily. The stitching is first class. The bottom of this bag is round with a stiff rim so that it doesn't collapses. It prevents your bread from being crushed. The fabric is also good quality. The other bags I have are made of polyester; this one is made of thick cotton.I froze a sandwich bread in it and there was no frost inside. On a personal note; although this bag is of a higher quality than the ones I have already, I prefer the cheaper ones because they take less space in the freezer. I bake a lot and I often freeze up to six loaves at a time. This one is quite bulky. To summarize, it is a great quality bag, though it takes more space than the cheaper ones.
